With Number People you can get a free VoIP Phone number to use for either business or personal use. A voip telephone number looks exactly the same and costs the same to call. You can have choose a number for any UK destination, or or could have an 03 or 0843 national number. If you prefer and want to offer an even better service to your clients, you can even get a freephone 0800 number.
You can have as many VoIP numbers as you like, your first number is free but if you need any more then you can add an unlimited amount and just pay £1 per month per number.

Personal use
Our VoIP phone numbers can be forwarded anywhere - including international destinations. Many people get a UK local VoIP number from us and then forward this to their international number, allowing friends and family to contact them at their local rate, not for an international call. When calls are forwarded internationally the caller will hear a normal ring tone and will not be aware of the international forward.
Diverting to a UK landline or UK mobile
Divert calls to your UK landline at just 1.5p per min and to your UK mobile for 7p per min. Alternatively you can add an Unlimited Call Forwarding bundle to your new VoIP number which would then cover all of your standard UK call forwarding.

How do these local numbers work?
Often called virtual local numbers, STD area codes or geographic numbers, Number People can supply VoIP telephone numbers for any UK town or city. Our VoIP phone numbers are not attached to a physical telephone line and are virtual cloud based numbers, meaning you don't have to be physically located in a particular area to benefit from having that areas’ area code.
Your business may be based in Birmingham, but if you want to offer the same services to people based in London, or Cardiff - then it's as simple as ordering a new telephone number for that area!
Once you have chosen your new VoIP telephone number/s, we just need to know where you would like this number to ring. You can forward calls to any UK or international destination - or a combination of both - in fact you can forward the calls to up to 10 destinations, perfect if you have a team of people that could answer the call.
